Morley’s Muscle Jet Kit! One of the best kits on the market today! Ask around to any of the well known Vmax forums and you’ll find info on our kits. Please visit the feedback tab to see what the customers are saying.
We developed this kit a number of years ago in the quest to make the best OVERALL jet kit available for the average vmax owner. Not only were we able to achieve that, but in many cases our kit makes more power everywhere and is even comparable in power to the more expensive aftermarket carbs.
Most our the bikes equipped with one of our kits make over 120+ rwhp while still maintaining 38-42+ MPG. More mid-range with same top end as stage seven (in many cases more power then stage seven). Flatslides kill economy for a minimal gain in HP (and in some cases we still outperform the flatslides!). We have even had a few bikes dyno into the 130’s with their internally stock engine and this kit. The typical bike will make mid 120’s.
The kit price is $300 with exchange of your old airbox lid or $350 for the "deluxe" kit which will not have any core needed. Shipping runs $25 in the U.S. and inquire for everywhere else.
The kit includes:
1.) Airbox lid with new flat K&N filter already installed.
2.) It will include 4 jets of each size from 155 – 165 (six sizes – 155, 157.5, 160, 162.5, 165, and 177.5 for the PAJ2 if needed) which will give a very nice range to select from. (We will try our best to help you get close with your starting jet size to start with.) Also includes #40 Pilot Fuel Jets to help tune the low end circuit if needed.
3.) New springs which are shorter and softer to allow for quicker slide opening
4.) Air correctors (A MUST for flowing this much air)
5.) The proper bit to drill out your slides.
6.) Adjustable Needles
7.) Billet Oil Fill Cap and Vent Tubing (Inquire for true braided system cost) as well as restrictor to control oil flow in the vent system.
This kit is NOT normally recommend slip-on or stock type headers as they are really choking the flow down. A full header is best for this and the brand doesn’t really make all that much difference. Look for future dyno testing of many different kit and header combinations all on the same bike. The only true way to know what does and doesn’t work!
Stay tuned for a future carb upgrade to get even more potential from the stock carbs. Bigger Bore Carbs for a fraction of the cost of flatslides.
